Memories have never tasted so good

My Story

I started baking before I was old enough to read. I recall spending hours in the kitchen with my parents especially my dad, helping them bake for family and friends. As I grew, so did my interest and responsibilities in the family kitchen. Baking continued to be a hobby through high school, college, and into adulthood.

Funny story. My sister was planning a sweet 16 for my niece Alissa. She sent me a picture of this elaborate cake. “This is the cake I want she said and you have to figure out how to make it” . I Googled and YouTubed and watched any video I could get my hands on. Then my sisters and I spent a frustrating day figuring out how to buttercream, cover with fondant, assembly, stack and apply store bought flowers. OMG!!!! we were so proud of that cake. We were amazed that we actually made it lol. After that it was madness. I just couldn’t get enough and I started teaching myself cake decorating.

I fell in love with the idea that cakes are pieces of edible art. Sketching new cakes and bringing them to life with clean lines and exquisite detail is my favorite way to spend my days. With a motto that beauty isn’t icing deep, I perfected my recipes by testing them out on my family and friends.

I have designed cakes for a variety of celebrations from high-end baby showers to retirement parties, from upscale dinner parties to brand work with companies like Nike.

My work is inspired by the story behind your celebration. In addition to artistry and craftsmanship, I am also known for my patience, ability to listen, as well as providing guidance to my clients in their design choices.
